I honestly don't think many people realise exactly what all this means to Yuku and their boards.

I tend to agree with you Sandy and the only ones that will get worried are those that have been creating skins.

Yes I know I am and one of the reasons why I am here. I have been creating skins for my own board and friends - now I have been telling them I may not be able to do it. I don't like the secretive way they say what will happen. No one knows for sure and I am just sick of it. I ask a question and I either get the "round about" question or a response of not sure what will be the end product or just no comment at all. I am frustrated and friends of mine who have had boards since Ezboard are angry and well frustrated.

I hear though that Tapatalk is going to do something here as well but not as bad as Yuku's changes, is that right?  It is like they want to take over everything.

Beckea I think you are confusing Forumotion with Freeforums.org or Forumer, which are now owned by TT as well.

Proboards give you the option to use Proboards and Freeforums.net - I know the freeforum one will get confusing to people so it really pays to do some research into who is who and who owns what!

I do have a skin board on freeforums.net (proboards) but haven't started creating skins yet.

Ah yes. I think I did sorry about that. But I have started up a board here. Just for a blog and maybe commenting. Still working on it.

Oh, I do love boards set up for blogs. Do check out the blog style forums.

You have to go into the Modules settings to activate it, then when you create a forum (or you can change it by editing a forum) you can choose to have blog style.

My Grumpy Marebag is in the blog style.

I asked for my board to be deleted, I was told "no need, just delete all the Forums on it" I did so, yet the Beta board still shows on tt....why won't they delete it like I asked?

Oh dear .... I have a board that I closed a few years ago but I still have forums on there with stuff that I want to safe.

Just yesterday I also got an invite to try out the beta version in TT and yep .. it's my closed board showing with no forums, so just an empty shell.

What on earth are they thinking and doing?

Either way I think it's ridiculous that they won't delete a board.

You would think deleting would be better than they do not have to transfer it over. Oh well.

Yes!
My original Yuku board is empty but the Beta one still there!
I was finally told how to submit a Ticket and I did so this morning, now I'm waiting to see if they take it down

I'm hoping to get all my stuff of the boards I have (personal boards that is) and then delete them before they get moved.

I have some members that want to stay on so I will keep mine but I did start up a blog forum here so I will give both links to the members and see what happens. 

I love some of the features; however, I just have this yucky feeling about going to TT. Knowing what I know and what I researched about and don't believe what the owners believe in or want to be part of it. But all my stuff of over ten years. Wish they could be moved over. Just feel sick about it. All that work for not. I may just use it for an archive.

I hear you Beckea!! I've been reading up on a lot concerning TT and this is what really concerned me:

Now to be fair, probably not all will be lost but for the novice that relies on others to help make their board look nice, this could become an absolute nightmare.

Still no reply to my Ticket, I don't like it!

One thing I don't care for is that I was told the Beta board is not an actual site, it is "just for me to experiment" so why is it visible in the tt Directory and most important why am I receiving members requests to join?

I don't like tt Privacy Policy!

That is another one of my big concerns too Little Elf. Yes I am aware that those boards that have been copied over are still in Beta mode so to speak but security wise it's an utter mess. And then the email notifications; no matter what one does they still keep coming too.

There are so many things not working properly yet and still they insist we will all be moved over soon!
What are they thinking!!!

I've receive an email telling me that my main zandranna board on Yuku is being migrated within the next 7 days and will have the same url as is now.

I presume that once that is migrated the test board will be deleted.

Well, I created a board over here but it is more a blog forum. I think after all this I will copy some of the topics over and just do everything over. They are now telling us to wait on doing anything else because it will be for not. Anyway, saying hello!

So all those that had a go at their test board and got it set up have to start over again ... oh my goodness.

Finally this morning I got a response to my Ticket, they told me Deleting the Forums is not enough, I need to erase the members too.....is there a way to delete pages or do I have to click on each one, then click delete, then again click delete? Is going to take me FOREVER!!!!

Click to put each page on the clipboard and then click to edit the clipboard. You can then delete all members in one go.
