For all Yuku Members!

You know I honestly think this is why they are moving the boards over so quickly! Not because they are ready to be moved over but this way people might actually stay with TT seeing as their board is there now.

I reckon they are going to lose a lot.

Several have already started setting up on either proboards or forumotion.  They seem to be keeping their TT boards going at the moment but created boards on the other systems ready to start moving.

Yes I've noticed that too and some have also started a board on Zeta boards as well.

When it gets too hard to try and do a skin or theme people will leave quick smart!

It's not only the not being able to create themes, it's also lack of support and help.

It's the whole fact that they simply haven't created a halfway decent message board.  Quite honestly there are 14 year old out there that can create boards like that.  They are tacky and unprofessional.

When you think how they are built with the same phpbb code that this system has been built with yet look at the features we have on here.

The move it's "just an upgrade".. so we are repeatedly told

The word "upgrade" should mean better not worse!

The whole upgrade/move part is such a scrambled mess it's scary to say the least.

if you want to move a whole system over to another, or new, system wouldn't it make more sense to make sure that the "new" system was properly in place? Not a system where the users are asked to help each other out so that they can make their board look good!

Also give the users plenty of time to find out what that new system entails so they have the time to save their stuff and move elsewhere if chosen! Not the half put together system they are now forced to move to with no proper help/guidance at all.

If you remember a few weeks ago when people were asking about the new system Chris was saying that we wouldn't be forced over there.

I know this for a fact because I remember saying to you that I bet it would be like ezboard when they promised they wouldn't force us to move but they did and then denied they said it.

Nothing adds up and so far I have not heard of anymore boards being down on the yuku part of things so what is going on with that? Are those servers suddenly stable ... as in stable enough to then  move the boards etc? So many questions and at one stage I was having some interest, but now ... I can't be bothered even  you paid me to be lol.

Someone did mention that Yuku itself had never run more smoothly and quicker since a lot of boards have been moved off of it.

They had probably been overloading the servers to save money.

Am I ever glad I closed my board there when I did, yuku never did and most likely never will know what they're doing, they should just give up and sell out. 

The thing with yuku is when they make promises they never keep then freak people out with their "Upgrades" then throw it on our laps is if to say, "Here, now YOU figure it out!" and it's always an unfinished product, when Becky was working there she was the go to girl for code help. Now?? lol

Proboards is doing a massive V6 upgrade themselves and yes, TT is in there funny how these guys are squeezing there way into all these forums web wide, what are they up to? I have a feeling it won't last though because there's already too many problems with them I see. 

The difference between PBS and Yuku is yuku loves their unfinished products it's like they're too damn lazy to give a damn to put any effort into making their members and customer happy there, it just keeps getting worse.

PBS refuses dump an unfinished product on anybody's lap, instead they leave out an invitation to anyone who wants to be a test pilot for the new upgrades that only THEY can see and nobody else.

So many have asked for just one peak, nope they won't do it. They say, "It's not finished yet there's still lots of work to be done" then they post a link to their progress of the new upgrade which is almost done by the way so you can imagine how excited many of us are there.

We're excited because we know PBS, the admins there poor their whole hearts into what they do there and because of that they literally are praised there by so many of us, and the talent in their knowledge in coding but, it's not just them there's members there as well so much coding talent as well so you're never short on help there.

Even when the admins take a break on holidays there's always someone there to help us. 

There has been the odd time where we got the angry bear leaving a lot of wondering what is going on, in shock because it happens SO rarely. lol

I think the longest it was ever down for was maybe 30 mins. lol
The shortest I think was a blip! lol
