Hi all......just a quick hello......doing a bit better.......body aches and pains seem to have subsided.......my head doesn't hurt.....just the body. Today is the first day I haven't had a headache when I woke up. The patient services dept. from the hospital called yesterday to see how I was doing......told me I couldn't mow my lawn

Sun is out , and roads are drying from the over night rain , things look refreshed .
We have our parking lot getting re-paved , a long process consisting of several days , noisy and most likely will turn smelly later on .

Had a nice long phone call from my son last evening , catching up on all the events of his summer .  always feel so much better after a good  talk with him .

Got to make it in to the village today run errands and do laundry etc .

Glad you are feeling a bit better Rby , take it slow now , no bouncing around with Simon either... hug1
Hello Mozzie , Elaine  have a great day.

Geru no my daughter will be a registered Lawyer after she finishes working for the judge next year.
It is law here that they do that work before they get registered on the Bar as a qualified lawyer.

Good to hear you are feeling a bit better Rby Smile and lol regarding the law mowing.

Organising a house with kids is a job in itself isn't it Brad! So glad I'm past all that now!
Now organising my own mess .... that's a different story hahahaha.

Tara hope you have the time to get a good rest.

Hiya Elaine and it's already Tuesday here lol.

Catching up with a few boards/posts before getting ready to go and get my results from the tests and blood tests this morning. Other then that I have nothing on the agenda so depending on the weather I might even do some gardening if the rain holds of.

Heck Rby, the result of your wrestle with the rug sounds awful. Pleased to hear you are feeling a lot better now. Rugs are all very nice but sometimes I think they just aren't worth having. With me, I have to be careful not to trip over the dogs toys which he leaves all over the place.

Once upon a time Mozzie I had a four bedroom house and still didn't have room for everything. Although in those days I actually used to enjoy organising and reorganising. Now I just keep everything to a minimum.

So sad about your Son's MiL Tara. My thoughts to all.

I'm good thanks Geru.

That must have been really scary Martha.

Hi Elaine.

Very chilly here today. I'm going to soon have to break out my warm leggings and other winter type clothing.

It was scary Sandy and I knew the feeling of what was happening pretty quick. Still have a little uneasiness from it but that takes a bit to completely disappear.

Blood test where not back yet and seeing as it was a specific genetics test it will take longer. No rush for me though; this test is merely to give my kids a familial picture.

Ultrasound from Thyroid showed 4 nodules but nothing to worry about at this stage so we just keep monitoring it.

We've had a lovely sunny day after all today and I got all the weeding done in my gardens Smile
Rain forecast for the next 6-7 days so that was well planned LOL.

Back home but still busy catching up with all the boring stuff. Had a lovely time despite awful flights both ways. Missing the sun already. It's chilly and wet here. San Francisco was fun. Rode the trolleys everywhere and made one crossing on the ferry and another trip there by car. Spent a couple of days at Lake Tahoe and another three at Monterey Bay plus lots of local stuff.

Read back on a lot of posts but will catch up on more once I clear the backlog of stuff to do.

Welcome back Wendy Smile good to hear you got home safe. That must be a shock to come back to cold and wet weather now!

Evening ... not long got home from spending an evening with Catherine. Her boyfriend is away for work in New Zealand so I shouted us both Chinese and it was delicious.
We've had some good laughs as Catherine showed me how to do a few things in Snap chat.

Catching up on a few posts here before rolling into bed.

Brad I see there's some real bad weather down south so batten down the hatches!

Hi Geru Smile

Sky is overcast right now ,  12c  but streets are dry , paving of our parking lot has stopped , only half done ... guess they are waiting for more sun, .

Just finished reading a horror story, about Kim Jung  Un , that was reported on my home pages this morning, told by a defector . It told what was done to 11 Musicians when they got caught making a pornographic video .  OMG   , it's to terrible to put on paper here .... Sad Sad Sad

Got to get to the village for my walk , meet up at the club for coffee meeting , and then see about finding some rain boots .

Whisper:  Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your self , sorry the flights were bad Mad , but the rest of it made up for it by the sounds of it , and that you were spared any fire situations . have a good rest now ...

Martha:  What is snap chat ?  I can't keep up with all this new stuff .... lol  Did you save me some of that Chinese food ?  Very Happy

Sandy:  Get out the  warm leggings ?, yes, me too, even turn on the heat now every morning to take the chill out , seems like fall arrived in a hurry here .

Hello to everyone else I have missed , best get going now . see you later .

Hello! It's Wednesday afternoon & once again I'm having computer issues. Sheesh! I had a redirect virus called Freeze that would not allow pages to load properly if at all.  Malwarebytes found it and it's now gone but my internet font size is still larger than it should be and some of my desktop icons have gone fuzzy. Weird right? I decided to try the new 14 day trial of Malwarebytes just to see what it comes up with in the next day or two. I did try a free license of Zemana and the problems started when I deleted and deep cleaned it from my hard-drive. Would software vendors actually do that to people? I don't know.
Anyway, I can still use everything so that's good.
I've been having a difficult time with back & sciatic nerve pain for nearly 2 weeks now. Mostly I just lay in bed with 4 or 5 pillows under my knees LOL omg SO boring, but I hope to feel ok later this afternoon. I need to go out and get a few veggies at WalMart & take out some cash to pay back to Roomie.
The weather here is amazing! Sunny & cool, very Autumnish Smile

Elaine I too use Malwarebytes but have found they don't clean all and still leave quiet a few adware and spam behind on ones computer.
The best ever FREE anti spyware program I have come across and that clears your computer from the lot is called Super Anti Spyware. It is brilliant and I have been using it for years and highly recommend it.

http://www.superantispyware.com/

Just click the red button for your totally free download Smile

To give you an example ... I just scanned with Malwarebytes and then restarted my comp etc.
Then after restarting I opened SuperAntiSpyware and did a scan. It found 54 spyware files on my computer; most of them tracking cookies so they got quickly removed lol.

Geru snapchat is an image messaging mobile app that is more for fun then anything else. It's the craze with the younger ones these days and all snaps taken and send to a friend disappear within a short time frame!

Morning all from a chilly and wet Perth. The first of this cold front has arrived and the wind is getting stronger so it will be a few wintery days here.

Thanks Martha and GERU. Yes the time there more than made up for the flights and two hour customs queues etc. The weather here has given my system a real shock Martha. How quickly we forget. lol

I run different types of scans on my computer. Malwarebytes is just one of them. I run one designed specifically for adware that Malwarebytes isn't designed for. I've never had a virus on my computer. *crosses fingers so as not to tempt fate* I run a Hijack this check regularly that checks all running processes as well. I'm a wee bit paranoid. lol

Snapchat is fun for us oldies as the youngsters love it so they keep in touch with us a lot more than they would normally. They find any excuse to send us daft images of what they are getting up to. It's a terrific way to interact with the Grandkids. I wouldn't be without it now.

Sorry to hear you are still in pain Elaine. That's a real bummer.

I've been mooching around this morning with the occasional jumping up to do a spot of housework between watching Youtube videos.

It's a rotten day weatherwise so I'm not going to go too far today. Will do a bit more exercising indoors later.

First I need a late breakfast or an early lunch. I'm rather peckish.

I'm like that too with my computer scanning Wendy and so far so good as well!

It's horrible weather here with very strong wind and heavy rain and perhaps a thunderstorm or two expected as well. Real weather to stay in bed lol, but it's my usual busy Friday so I will leave earlier as some people just don't know how to drive in this.

Sandy I just learned how to do short video pics with changed voice over in SnapChat hahaha.

I'm still learning how to know when I receive a snapchat. I often don't realise I've got one until hours after it's been recieved. I've only just picked up a couple of "Ugly Martha" images, lol. You are one silly pratt.

I must get Jess to go through it with me again.

I'm just off to post a birthday card to our Beverley. My word we are all getting so old. I must then come back and do a bit of a potter and then do a shop on line, which I hate doing for some reason.

lol I just said on your board Sandy that I'd order online but resist the temptation because shopping  makes me get out of the house.

It's a better morning here so far. Yesterday was wet and windy but the sun is out this morning. Probably won't last long but it's nice to see. I don't envy you your weather right now Martha. I hate strong winds.

Off to do the grocery shop and then I'm going to chill and catch up on some more shows. Two weeks worth to get through.

It's another beautiful Autumn day here. Sunny & 16 C.
Super AntiSpyWare found 179 tracking cookies! I'm shocked considering all that I do in the way of security. Malwarebytes, MS Security Essentials & Kerish Doctor all running at the same time (supposedly compatible with each other) did not find those dang trackers. Amazing. Thank you again Martha!

You are very welcome Elaine Smile and I bet your computer is running much smoother now too!
Malwarebytes is very good at intercepting nasty exploits so I too have that running in the background.

Hi Joy and wow 27C! Enjoy the nice weather and your visitors.

Hahahaha Sandy since Catherine showed me how to use SnapChat I've been having a blast Smile

No damage here that I can see after those strong winds overnight but I do have to go and pick up some pot plants that got blown over.

Lol @ Elaine.

It's taking me a while to get motivated today. I stayed up late last night watching tele which means I slept late this morning. I'm soooo sluggish today. I'm sure though that once I've had my shower and got dressed I will be more alive.

That bloody Martha rang me yesterday and of course held me up for a couple of hours. She did teach me more about the snapchatting though, so I suppose the cowbag was worth chatting to. funnie
